Racing: I began racing at 8 years old in the QRC Outlaw dirt karts.  It was 7 years
of great fun. I earned a championship, a couple ROY titles, and a Sportsman
of the Year award. Because of the karts, I learned how to drive on the edge
and not be nervous.  Imagine 20 karts powered by 500cc motors on a 1/10 mile
dirt track...crazy. In 2002, at 15, we bought an asphalt Pro Stock for Shasta Speedway.  I earned ROY.  I began volunteering my time at LaHorgue Race Cars.  I learned
from the ground up how a car works and how to build them.  Chuck helped me
build a new Pro Stock for 2001 and I earned championships in 2001 and 2002.
Great fun, 19 out of 29 mains won and all from the back of the field.  As a
senior project, I built a super late model in 2003.  In 2004, I raced in the
North State Challenge series and lost the championship by one point, but won
ROY.  2005 brought another change.  We built an ASA Speed Truck and raced in
the Outdoor Channel televised series where we again lost the championship by
mere points.  This year I raced in the West Car Series late model division
and just signed with Melo Gordon Motorsports to finish the North State
Challenge series and possibly a South West tour race or two
